1. Find the Settings icon from the lower right menu (click on the clock)
2. You may need to click on the Settings menu in the top left of the window that appears.
3. Select “About Chrome OS”
4. Select the button labeled “Check for updates”
5. Chromebooks that are updating will usually require about 3-5 minutes to download and install the update. When the update finishes downloading, click Restart to finish the update.
